The project

A covered carport and outdoor kitchen on a brick home, lined overhead in timber-look slat cladding that runs the full length of the roof and returns neatly to the brick piers and house wall.

At the driveway end, a new framed wall is clad in black woodgrain composite boards, mitred around the corner and finished tight to the eave, giving the outdoor kitchen a sheltered side and a modern contrast to the brick.
